Frequently Asked Questions
Who can participate in SPARC programs?
SPARC serves adults (18+) with severe and multiple disabilities who have aged out of the K-12 special education system. Participants require specialized one-to-one support and bring their own Direct Support Professional to our programs.
How much does it cost to participate?
SPARC's flat-rate structure is supported by need-based scholarships. Those that can pay tuition do so, and those who cannot do not. Access is guaranteed regardless of ability to pay - all of our participants live below the federal poverty line.
What is a Direct Support Professional (DSP)?
A DSP is a trained caregiver who provides one-to-one support to the participant. DSPs may be funded through Medicaid waivers, Community Service Boards, or private means. Participants bring their own DSP to SPARC programs.
How do I schedule a visit?
Email us at debi@sparcsolutions.org or call (571) 407-1807. We welcome families to visit any of our centers to learn more about our programs and meet our team.
