Three years ago, students from Rachel Carson started this annual charity chess tournament.

In 2022, they raised over $5500 for UNICEF to help children in Ukraine.

In 2023, they raised close to $6000 for UNICEF to help children in Turkiye and Syria.

In 2024, they raised more than $2500 for Children’s Miracle Network to help recovering children hospital patients.
